Pet Dental Month
FEBRUARY IS NATIONAL PET DENTAL MONTH!

Here at The Colville Animal Hospital we are celebrating National Pet Dental Month by providing a free dental home care kit and home care instructions with every dental exam in February.

Pets can develop dental disease and other dental problems, just like people. If your pet has bad breath and reddened or bleeding gums, it could be from gingivitis. Gingivitis can lead to "periodontitis" or inflammation of the tissues around the teeth. If left untreated, periodontitis can lead to loss of teeth and infection in the heart or kidneys. It can also be very painful and hard to eat with periodontitis.
